Scary, extreme, cool-looking things I will never do
This list is part of an email being forwarded around, and it makes an excellent point. The subject line of the email says “Things I will NOT do before I get old”, and the images are all of extreme, crazy, cool, impressive, terrifying experiences.

The email ends by saying: “Fortunately, I am ALREADY old. I didn’t get this way by being stupid.” But we think there’s a bigger point at hand: you can admire something, you can think something is cool, but you don’t have to DO it. Let go of some of your FOMO.
